Hello, my name is Rob Alan Barkas and I have been in the Disc Jockey business for over 25 years. I am a graduate of Northeast Broadcasting School in Boston. I was also the morning drive disc jockey at small radio station in NH and had a late night modern jazz show at a college radio station in the early 80's.

I worked in night and dance clubs for ten years playing music for people to dance to in between the sets of live bands as well as introducing the bands when they started and ended their sets. So, needless to say, I am no stranger to the microphone or all kinds of music.

I started performing at private functions in 1985 and I have probably done more than twelve hundred (1200) functions since then. I can be as high energy or as low key as you prefer, but if you do want interaction, I really love to get the crowd completely involved in your function. Whatever your function or your preferences are I can tailor make the party for you. Whatever makes you happy is fine with me. If your function is a wedding reception, I will personally get together with you and your fiancé and customize it for you. If your function is a birthday, anniversary, holiday, graduation party, cookout, or school dance I will personally call you the week before the function and go over all the details with you.

I am always appropriately dressed for your function, have "State of the Art" professional disc jockey equipment, and have an extensive music library. I am a true professional, really enjoy my work, and I look forward to speaking with you and performing at your function.
